In Apple's series, Invasion, Caspar is receiving glimpses of disconnected images from the aliens. Buried within the barrage of images, glimpses of mysterious symbols and alien landscapes are intercut with Caspar's memories. Though most of the images appear random at first, they are a key factor in keeping the viewer engaged and guessing. The design also needed to posses an organic feeling to convey that these images were sent from a being and not generated by technology. The chaotic animation allows the viewer to immerse themselves in Caspar's dreams.
